WHAT WILL I FEEL WHEN TREATED WITH REIKI?
Common feelings are....relaxation, sometimes very deep. Heat or warmth from therapists hands. Floating or sinking feeling. Memories coming to the surface. Emotional release. Physical release. Seeing colours.

WHAT AGE CAN YOU RECEIVE REIKI TREATMENT?
Any age, as before i always treat my children whenever necessary. I have treated a two month old baby who was in physical pain with constant colic (to the stage that she broke wind and smiled through treatment), a teenager going through exam stress that found reiki centred her and gave her a sense of calm, through to an elderly gentleman with rheumatism that after his treatment found himself more mobile and in less pain.

CAN CHILDREN BE TREATED WITH EAR CANDLES?
Children as young as three can be treated as long as they are able to remain still while the ear candle is in place. ear candling on children can be used as a preventative measure from grommets. I regularly treat my children.

WHAT IF I DONT LIKE TO HAVE MY FACE MASSAGED?
it is important that you rest for a while after and some form of massage can enhance the relaxation effect. Alternatives to the face massage can include a hand or foot massage, if this is still not appropiate then you may simply relax on the treatment couch and listen to some gentle music

DOES EAR CANDLING HURT?
Ear candling carried out by a properly trained person and using good quality ear candles will never hurt.Most people experience gentle warmth in the ear canal, which has a soothing relaxing effect. There is a slight crackling sound as the candle burns, which most people find pleasant.

DO EAR CANDLES CURE DISEASES?
Although ear candling can alleviate some of the symptons of ear disease, it is not a cure for these diseases. I recommend that you ask for and follow your doctors advice concerning any diseases of the ear, and check the contraindications (when it is safe to treat) for ear candling if concerned.
